The School of Public Policy offers a competitive academic environment that features small classes, abundant internship and study-abroad programs, and frequent opportunities for meaningful collaboration between faculty and students.
Because policy challenges are not neatly bundled into academic subjects, Mason's policy programs are highly interdisciplinary drawing upon economics, political science, applied statistics, regional science, sociology, cultural studies and other academic disciplines which provide students with the theoretical grounding and hands-on tools needed to address a vast range of public concerns including terrorism, human trafficking, environmental hazards, and global financial policy among others.
At our Open House, prospective students will have an opportunity to obtain curriculum and admissions information, and speak extensively with program directors, faculty, admissions staff, and current students.
