The company seeks to provide highly accurate activity based data products by processing multiple sources of information (RF, Imagery, open source Internet) to create a wealth of current and historical data useful for commercial and government customers. JOB DESCRIPTION:An Opportunity to Invent and InnovateHawkEye 360 is currently seeking a Signals Processing Engineer, who will join the team that will be implementing DSP and geolocation algorithms using RF data sources for execution either on:satellite, at ground sites, or within the cloud to facilitate the creation of unique and valuable data products by the analytics team. Processing team engineers will work with the analytics team to define shared architectural interfaces, especially where processing and analytic software intersects as part of the ground:station processing component. Processing team members will also inform the creation of data:analytic requirements for RF metadata products, and will coordinate with the space systems team to derive hardware requirements for signal processing.The Signals Processing Engineer will have core responsibilities related to developing processing components and systems to derive information from specific RF signals. Applications will focus on signal acquisition and demodulation as well as RF signal geolocation and specific emitter identification. The Signals Processing Engineer will work closely with senior technical leadership, helping to ensure the consistency of software designed as part of the HawkEye 360 signals processing system, and to inform the overall development and evolution of the systemA?s overall software architecture.
