Job Description
Job responsibilities:
:Manage pre:construction planning, purchasing, accounting, invoicing, scheduling, quality control, and close:out procedures on one or multiple commercial HVAC scopes up to 10M.
:Accurately account for labor, material, equipment, subcontractors, and other costs through the duration of each project.
:Work with the estimating team to review plans and specifications to determine and qualify scopes of work once projects are released.
:Write and deliver purchase orders and subcontracts as part of the buyout phase of the project.
:Coordinate labor with AMSI and subcontractors to ensure projects stay on schedule.
:Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with key owners, developers, architects, engineers and general contractors.
Education, Experience and Certifications:
:Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, construction management or a related field.
:Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems including duct work, piping systems, and equipment.
:Strong knowledge of construction accounting, budgeting, job costing, estimating, AIA billing, contract and subcontract review.
:Knowledge of building materials, engineering standards, and mechanical codes.
:Strong experience with and understanding of engineered MEP drawings and specifications.
:Strong background in construction project management, specifically the following processes: submittals, RFIs, pay applications and change orders.
:Client management skills; able to manage customer relationships, perceptions and expectations.
:Ability to think creatively and solve problems.
