Job Description
Apply technical knowledge to perform tasks following detailed instructions, performing such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing complex
electronic/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic equipment, and taking test readings using test instruments. This person must have thorough working knowledge to perform tasks without guidance or supervision.
Essential Functions of the Position:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required of an Electronics Maintenance Technician.
:Work requires an understanding of the interrelationships of systems and circuits.
:Follows established processes to troubleshoot technical problems. Works independently to solve basic problems without oversight. Collaborates with maintenance electronic technician III, aircrew, or engineering support staff to resolve technical problems.
:Completes
scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and pre:/post:flight operation within performance standard guidelines on training devices.
:Follows standard on:the:job security/safety practices.
REQUIRED Experience, Education and Training:
:Associates or undergraduate degree in electronics or related field
:2:4 years of technical experience or knowledge in simulation systems, engineering, or other industries troubleshooting
electronic/mechanical equipment.
:Advanced knowledge of the use of electronic testing, monitoring, and repair tools.
