Engility is dedicated to making lives better, safer and more secure.Engility is hiring a Commerical GEOINT Systems Engineer for a key role on our program in Chantilly, VA. In this position, you will provide system engineering support to acquire, assess, condition, convert and store Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) data in IC ITE environments for use within Multi:INT automated analytics. Key functions of this position include but are not limited to:Daily interaction with customers and supporting contractors (technical consultation, meeting coordination and facilitation, and preparation and support to technical briefings).Interpret operational requirements and assist in developing acquisition strategies to meet them.Perform functional analyses.Develop architecture artifacts, acquisition roadmaps, and other Systems Engineering artifacts.Develop and execute test and evaluation plans or procedures, analyze test data, and develop reports.Lead Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), including formal and informal design reviews.Engineer technical solutions related to making Commercial GEOINT data available for automated analytics.Proactively identify and resolve technical and programmatic issues associated with acquiring and transitioning commercial GEOINT capabilities.Must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to successfully obtain a polygraph.Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or related technical disciplineStrong engineering background with domain knowledge in GEOINT mission technical capabilities. Intelligence Community (IC) and/or Department of Defense (DoD) experience working within Acquisition Offices as Systems Engineering and Technical Assessment (SETA) and/or Systems Engineering and Integration (SE and I).Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey technical and/or programmatic assessments.Ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting work priorities.Experience with Commercial Imagery capabilities and architectures (Digital Globe, Skybox, Planet Labs, BlackSky Global, A?)AWS Certified Solutions Architect : Associate desired.Experience with iterative development/Agile disciplines executed using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar methodologies
