Engility is hiring an Acquisition Systems Engineer to lead the planning and execution of development efforts for complex software systems in support of Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC) missions. Your role will also include the following: Lead the development and fielding of automated software capabilities by eliciting, analyzing, developing, and managing requirements,Performing functional analyses, developing system functional and physical designs or architecturesDeveloping test and evaluation plans or procedures, executing test plans and procedures, analyzing test data and developing reports,Conducting trade studies or structured analyses of alternatives, developing and executing risk management plans, developing and managing interface control documents,Conducting technology readiness assessments, and developing system specification documents.Develop documentation supporting Risk Management Framework ICD 503 process.Lead requirements development efforts, including requirements elicitation, documentation, synthesis, refinement, and management.Lead and participate in Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), including formal and informal design reviews. Key functions of this position include but are not limited to: daily interaction with customers and supporting contractors (technical consultation, meeting coordination and facilitation, and preparation and support to technical briefings), analysis of alternatives, development of strategic options for architecture, acquisition strategy and implementation solutions, acquisition analysis and support (e.g., proposal evaluation), requirements management, readiness tracking, and validation and verification of delivered capabilities.Must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to successfully obtain a polygraph.Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or related technical disciplineStrong engineering background in development oversight, integration and fielding of software systems.Domain knowledge of JIOC missions and capabilities. Intelligence Community (IC) and/or Department of Defense (DoD) experience working within Acquisition Offices as Systems Engineering and Technical Assessment (SETA) and/or Systems Engineering and Integration (SE and I).Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey technical and/or programmatic assessments.Ability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting work priorities.Experience with definition and/or development on large scale systems in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud environment.AWS Certified Solutions Architect : Associate desired.Certification in Systems Engineering desired (e.g. DAWIA, INCOSE)
