Key Areas of Responsibility:Develops cross:platform and platform:specific editorial calendar for social mediaWrites daily posts for and engages with followers on all National Geographic Fine Art Galleries social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.Collaborates with corporate executive teams to develop and oversee cross:channel social media programsMonitors competitorA?s social media presence and leverages best practices to make our presence competitiveKeeps staff informed on social media best practices, competitor growth/activities and new opportunities.Ability to adapt in fast paced, constantly changing environment.Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identificationSupport SEO strategies by understanding keyword priorities and how they integrate into content marketing plansContinuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the informationCommunicate frequently to executive team on project development, timelines, and resultsKeep pace with social media and internet marketing industry trendsBrainstorm new and innovative growth and brand strategiesHigh levels of integrity, autonomy, and self:motivationGeneral administrative responsibilities as needed Requirements:Minimum 1 year Ads Analyst / Management experience (retail company preferred)Minimum 1 year general Facebook and Social Media posting and interaction experience.Experience with other advertising platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, AdWords, etc)Preferred: Google Analytics knowledgePreferred: Experience advertising for a retail companyPreferred: messaging and commenting/interaction experienceProficient with Google Docs and Google Drive.Professional Skills and Qualifications:Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channelsExcellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skillsDemonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledgePositive attitude and passion for social media and internet marketing industriesOutstanding ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problemsAttention to detail and excellent project management and time management skillsEducation: Bachelors degree in Journalism/Communications, Marketing, English or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
