Job Objective:
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned markets, which currently includes residential Plumbing, HVAC, and Remodeling Services. You will direct a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with our vision and values. In addition, you will establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contribute to the development of training and educational programs for clients and sales team.
Daily responsibilities:
Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
Responsible for the performance and development of the sales team.
Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports submitted by sales team.
Assist sales team in preparation of proposals and presentations.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Recruit and coach sales team based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
Work with the sales team to create solutions for our customers needs and proactively resolve any sales, design, and estimate issues.
Set examples for sales team and technicians in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
Position Requirements:
5:7 years of experience in sales management.
Home services sales management a huge plus, but not a requirement if candidate possesses other key talents and/or experiences.
Experience with enterprise software solutions and medium to large, complex organizations.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
