Farmers Insurance is currently recruiting for three different career opportunities:
Retail Agency Owner Program:
:Successful candidates will be well capitalized and have a strong business background
:Turn:key system to quickly build and run a Farmers start:up Agency
:Hire and manage staff to meet daily Agency operations including: sales, service and marketing for new business.
:Commission match during first three years
:Ability to sell economic interest in your business
:Early achiever cash bonus program during first three years
:Support with lead generation and Agency location start:up
Agency Producer/Staff:
:For individuals who would like to gain some experience before owning their own agency. Successful candidates must be able obtain Insurance Licenses.
:Work directly with a Retail or Traditional Agent
:Successful candidates will have the ability to solicit and sell insurance policies and provide customer service to policyholders.
Job Responsibilities
You will solicit new prospects, sell our products and services, and assist existing clients as necessary. You will also network within your community : attending networking events, sales conferences, and trade shows to market your business and target your preferred audience.
Additional responsibilities for the Sales Agency Owner position include:
:Providing excellent customer service to policyholders
:Educating customers on their options
:Creating your own daily schedule
:Obtaining insurance licenses and keeping them current
:Staying abreast of evolving industry and product changes
:Making staff hiring and firing decisions
Job Requirements
As an Insurance Sales Agency Owner, you must have strong organizational and time:management skills as well as exceptional interpersonal communication abilities. We are seeking individuals from any background who are willing to work hard and commit themselves to their own success; however, experience is sales, marketing and/or customer service is very beneficial.
Additional requirements of the Insurance Sales Agent include:
:College degree preferred, but not required
:A good credit history : no chapter 11 or 13 bankruptcies within the last 12 months. No chapter 7 bankruptcies within the last 3 years
:A favorable criminal record
