Job Description

Director of Membership Sales will be responsible for leading the club sales efforts to meet goals/plans on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities Include
:Coaching Sales Team, to include strategic planning, leading sales meetings, enrollment of new members and renewals, maintenance and growth of corporate accounts, managing a rate strategy, and meeting weekly and monthly membership revenue goals.
:Assisting in marketing of the Club, including communication and training of promotions and programs to front desk and members and communicating and promoting all program events.
:Responsible for payroll, scheduling, job descriptions, hiring, training, mentoring and coaching of Sales team.
:Handling Member relations/and customers.
:Leading daily sales coaching, and conducting weekly role playing with sales associates.
:Preparing reports to include: daily, weekly and monthly sales stats.
:Implementing all marketing support materials (fliers, posters, etc.) and inventories all collateral
:Coordinating media for events when necessary.
:Assisting in the development and implementation of member referral programs.
:Reviewing sales numbers, appointment schedules and phone calls made on a daily basis with sales associates.
:Following up on all website requests/prospects on a daily basis.
:Must be articulate both verbally and in writing.
:Ability to prioritize, organize and follow through.
:Detailed oriented.
:Able to multi task and work with minimal supervision.
:Possess excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
:Ability to process reports, and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet/Website search capabilities are required.
:Minimum 2 year in
supervisory/management role in a health club environment preferred, including direct experience in profit and loss management, revenue generation and people management.
:Experience leading and motivating a team.
:BA/AA degree preferred.
:AED/CPR Certified preferred.
:Must be available to travel to attend workshops, tradeshows, conventions, etc. when needed.
:May be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.
Position is full time, flexible schedule; including weekends and holidays.
