Job Description Our new Business Development Manager will work directly with prospects and clients to identify and develop search, social and content marketing programs that will help their businesses grow. You will work closely with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing as well as various members of the Silverback leadership team. We expect the right candidate to embrace a substantial degree of independence to effectively manage sales relationships.

What You’ll Do

Initiate new client relationships and strategize across existing partnerships for upsell opportunities.
Grow and manage your own pipeline and drive sales proactively.
Follow up on new business leads and identify and prioritize outbound agency growth opportunities.
Partner closely with client services, strategy and project managers in the planning and development of new business and upsell proposals.

Who You Are

2+ years of experience in B2B sales for agencies or media companies.
Motivated and experienced in identifying, qualifying and contacting new leads.
Experienced in digital marketing, advertising and strategy.
A genuine interest and experience in digital marketing and B2B sales.
A strong team player, dedicated to lifelong learning — and teaching.
A great communicator and negotiator with a proactive attitude to drive results.
Excellent social skills that allow you to build trust and close relationships.
