Position Title: Account Executive
Department: Sales
FLSA Status: Exempt

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Achieve revenue and gross margin objectives through prospecting, relationship development with key decision makers, and closing opportunities in Reston Northern Virginia market.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
An energetic sale professional that enjoys a high paced work environment and culture, responsible for working directly with your clients to develop a trusting, long term consultative relationship
Responsible to open new accounts and bring value to your clients through intelligent dialogue, personal contacts, technology experience and strong business acumen
Successfully close business opportunities by identifying prospects, developing relationships, recommending solutions and closing opportunities
Action-oriented, results-oriented, "take charge" attitude, with the capability of developing a strong business case for client action
Must be willing to meet or exceed minimum standard activity metrics in terms of calls/visits/lunches as outlined by manager
Ability to effectively negotiate all deals in line with expected and budgeted margin percentages
Ability to appropriately qualify each requirement and effectively convey key information to business partners including the Recruiting Team and Agile Engagement Managers
Research every division within Eliassen Group in order to effectively cross sell our services
Maintain a strong work ethic and passion to achieve all performance metrics

Job Requirements

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree required

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED
Must have proven successful track record of selling IT Services in the greater Reston area with a strong focus on hunting and developing new business OR have proven sales experience in a highly competitive and transactional environment
Must be able to work effectively with Recruiters to convey accurate temperature of requirements and demonstrate effective level of client control
Show ability to develop repeat business
Ability to work with other divisions (Agile/Life Sciences) to effectively cross-sell services
Ability to successfully integrate into Eliassen Group culture and transfer knowledge to others as well as uphold Eliassen Group’s professional standard and reputation.
Work within agreed upon levels of flexibility in terms of hours in and out of the office.
Must have a strong passion for selling in this industry
