What you’ll be doing...

Responsible for all site acquisition and site development activities for designated wireless infrastructure deployment projects.

  • Work with VTS Legal and Utility Pole owners to negotiate Master Lease Agreements where projects require.

  • Coordinate all zoning and permitting requirements.

  • Work with project team to identify pole candidates for use in wireless infrastructure deployments.

  • Develop and manage site acquisition Third Party Vendors.

  • Develop and manage site development project plan.

  • Provide oversight for all pre-construction site development activities.

  • Engages required internal and external organizations with professional written/verbal communications to accomplish required tasks.

  • Coordinates project requirements with municipalities and jurisdiction.

  • Prepares detailed cost analysis, project specifications, spend forecasts for project requirements.

  • Processes reports, vendor invoices, material receipts, and other administrative duties.

  • Identify, monitor, report and escalate project-related issues to achieve timely resolution.

  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with customers on project status and requirements.

  • Receives general instruction, otherwise performs independently with minimal supervision, exercising latitude to achieve daily objectives and approaches to critical/complex assignments.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in managing telecom infrastructure deployment for multiple wireless carriers.

  • Site development experience.

  • Jurisdiction and Rights of Way permitting experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Ten or more years of relevant experience in managing complex telecom infrastructure deployment for multiple wireless carriers.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills.

  • Track record of effectively managing a site acquisitions team in multiple locations.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills - capable of interacting with customers and coworkers at most levels including executives.

  • Detail oriented, well organized, and effective in multi-tasking.

  • Capability of working independently to achieve deliverables and resolve urgent/complex issues.

  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of site acquisition principles within OSP job related functional area to include general practices, procedures and industry standards.

  • Strong Computer Skills (Databases, Processes, and Administrative).

  • Excellent knowledge of PC and software application including Google Apps and MS Office.
