RECURRING TASKS: Present PMR/CIP financials, Accountable for achieving budgets and forecast, Retained analysis, Support Internal / External audits, Support Monthly Close, Prepare complex task order proposals, Provide training to Financial Analysts, Prepare and variance cash flow forecasts, Accountable for backlog analysis and identify need for risk funding, Accountable for timely contract closeout, Resolution of billings/collection issues, Input to indirect budgets.FINANCIAL RECONCILIATION and ANALYSIS:Demonstrated ability to analyze and present complex financial information in simple terms, presenting conclusions and recommendations to next level manager.PROJECT ACCOUNTING/COST CONTROL:Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of programs of various sizes with a demonstrated knowledge of different contract types.KNOWLEDGE OF CONTRACT INVESTMENT and CASH FLOW:Demonstrated understanding of accounts receivable and collection cycles as well as after:tax cash calculation.Accountable to ensure billings are accurate and timely.Exercises cash management techniques.P and L BUDGETING and FORECASTING:Demonstrated forecasting skills with the ability to forecast P and L across many projects.Ability to understand impact of business decisions impact on P and L and provide analysis to VP.PRICING:Ability to prepare/review task order pricing and present at FMR.KNOWLEDGE OF BURDEN RATES:Demonstrated understanding of rate center cost elements and how they are forecasted.KNOWLEDGE OF GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTING (FAR and CAS):Demonstrated understanding of CAS and FAR regulations.Ability to decide appropriate action for routine contractual and financial reporting based on interpretation of FAR and CAS.Bachelors Degree in Finance or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.5:8 years of related finance or business analysis experience.
