Summary: TheRecruiting Specialist (RS) attracts, recruits and screens WPS applicants and A?matchingA? applicants to the WPS labor categories. TheRS assures the quality of the applicantA?s skills and experiences and assists the CPG WPS Biography (BIOs) Developers creating WPS BIOs with supporting documentation to assure approval by the GovernmentA?s Program Office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position) Attract, recruit and screen applicants for WPS positions to meet staffing requirements. Assure quality of applicants to WPS labor category requirements. Collect the supporting documents for the development of a WPS BIO. Record information in the recruiting and personnel Program Management Information Systems Non:Essential Duties: Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities: NONE Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) High School diploma; AssociateA?s degree preferred. Familiar with the development of accurate WPS BIOs Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions and reports. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: One year of experience as a WPS recruiter highly desired. Knowledgeable of the WPS labor categories. Ability to multi:task, organize, and prioritize work efficiently. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law. Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions and training material. Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment. Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
