We are currently seeking a full time project manager that can assume responsibility for all aspects of project management and coordination, to include material ordering and client contact management. The position requires a detailed oriented candidate that can demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects without compromising the quality of the finished product. --The position will also require you to work onsite as needed on very small occasions.--

This position is perfect for an experienced contractor who is personable and an expert in home remodeling and construction. We would like a candidate that is interested in growing with the company, as well as assuming financial gain from doing so.

The responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to:

-- Managing/coordinating all aspects of projects including estimating, material ordering/delivery, change orders and on-time performance of our employees to ensure satisfactory completion of the project expected by clients and their contracts.

-- Meeting with clients to explain project schedule/acquiring customer decisions as needed and walking customers thru completed project and collecting payment

-- Our projects require that you have the skills of an experienced contractor to handle complex work including hands on experience and knowledge of:
o kitchen, basement and bathroom remodeling
o framing/structural repairs and modifications
o carpentry
o cabinetry
o tile work
o plumbing
o decking
o drywall
o electrical
o window/door installations, etc.

-- In addition, the project manager/project coordinator must be prepared to handle simple handyman repair tasks (trim, light electrical & plumbing, etc.), check the work of other trades (such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, hardwood, carpet, tile, and painting, etc.), and understand basically all facets of interior and exterior work related to home improvements as well as codes, rules and regulation knowledge.

Requirements of Candidate:

-- MUST SPEAK ENGLISH!
-- 2+ years of managing remodeling construction projects with hands on experience.
-- Managing project profitability, ordering materials, managing employees time, change orders, etc.
-- Technology savvy -- proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel, email, smart phone, uploading pictures, and must have internet access at your home.
-- Valid driver license.
-- Must be able to pass a background check including driving record, drug and criminal.
-- Physical stamina required to work on the above referenced projects (lifting 75 pounds, and confidently and comfortably moving, kneeling and bending body daily).
