Summary: TheHuman Resource Generalist I (HRG I ) supports the WPS HRG II to implement human resources programs and resolve performance problems for an international work force of American and foreign personnel. TheHRG I is part of the personnel sectionfor the Program Office and OCONUS task orders. TheHRG I assists the HRG II in maintaining the A?good standingA? of the international work force as well as their completion and compliance with required training. TheHRG I conducts direct liaison and coordination with other PMO departments, the Task Order Administrative and Logistics Security Specialist staff and the Third Country National (TCN) Recruiting Company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position) Supports implementation human resources programs by providing human resources services, including staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations for the international work force. Complete personnel transactions and record these in the CPG Program Management Information System (PMIS). Coordinates with CPG country management offices and TCN recruiting companies for pay and benefits and compliance with labor law for Local National and TCN respectively. Coordinates with other PMO staff and CPG staff. Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action. Assists HRG II to improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees. Completes special projects as directed to conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions. Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Protects CPG proprietary and personnel information. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Manages the CPG and Chenega corporate training programs and ensures employee completion and compliance of required training, less WPS training qualification and re:qualification. Occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS training centers and task order sites may be required. Bachelors degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent. One (1) to three (3) yearsA? of experience in Human Resources positions. Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions and reports.
