Engility is dedicated to making lives better, safer and more secure.The Director of HR Compliance and Services will be responsible for the governance and compliance of the HR function; the development, implementation and management of HR policies and processes; oversight of HR operations processes and collaboration across cross:functional teams to deliver to efficient, effective, compliant workflows and employee programs. Duties and Responsibilities:Develop/oversee the HR Compliance Governance, ensuring effective maintenance and management.Lead an HR Compliance team and partner with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, L and D, and HRIS to addresses regulatory and statutory issues.Oversee the monitoring and tracking of HR related federal and state law considerations. Initiate company policy, practice and training changes as appropriate.Responsible for annual Affirmative Action Plans, audits and training.Develop and administer compliance audits as necessary with a committee framework aimed at proactively identifying compliance opportunities and solutions, as well as ensuring that they are operationalized and maintained in a consistent fashion. Directs activities related to the development and communication of EngilityA?s adherence to state and federal laws and regulations.Manage and own the implementation of Human Resources Operations process development and improvements.Develop and deliver training to HR and management staff related to EEO, affirmative action, employee relations, unemployment claims and US employment:based immigration processes.Conduct analysis and provide recommendations related to EEO, affirmative action, employee relations, and unemployment claim data for HR, Legal and management review and action.Maintain strict confidentiality of all data and information.Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of staff that provide internal services and customer support.Provide SOX, DCAA and other audit support for the HR function.Performs other duties as assigned. Bachelors degree in related field is required.10+ years of experience in HR Services, Compliance, Employee Relations, Process Improvement.10+ years of experience in a government contracting environment.Previous experience managing HR Compliance, AAP Preparation, Audits, HR Policy Development, Process Improvement and Employee Services.Has successfully implemented HR workflow processes.Experience with organizational and systems integration.Ability to set work and project priorities, and to evaluate and recommend solutions to regulatory compliance challenges and internal processes. Ability to assess and apply the labor and employment laws, company policy, practice and procedural guidelines to identify and implement solutions that address company:wide compliance needs. Ability to coordinate, monitor and evaluate the work of others.Strong people leadership and development capability.Ability to think big picture while providing attention to detail; excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills; and demonstrated ability to manage staff and work in a results:oriented environment. Ability to work collaboratively cross functionally.
