CSRA , an emerging leader in the background investigations industry, will support a large national background investigations (BI) program that provides investigative products and services to departments and agencies of the federal government. BIs are required to determine an individualA?s suitability for employment with the federal government, eligibility for access to classified information, assignment to or retention in positions with sensitive duties, or other designated duties requiring such investigations. The investigations often involve personal and intimate details of an individualA?s life and must be processed and conducted with tact and discretion. Information collected by the investigator as part of the BI is protected under the Privacy Act of 1974. CSRA is seeking an Administrative Support II to support the Project Management Office. In this position, you will be responsible for performing diversified clerical duties, which may include filing, proofreading, checking computations, light typing, and operating office machines, such as adding and copying machines. Work is normally limited to standardized duties constituting a small part of a complete operating procedure and is generally performed under minimal supervision.Essential Job FunctionsPerforms moderately complex administrative and/or clerical functions such as, word processing, report generation, schedules, appointments and establishing agendas for meetings and conferences to ensure that departmental activities are performed in a timely manner.Handles moderately complex confidential material relevant to company operations. Screens phone calls and incoming mail to ensure that calls and confidential mail are directed to appropriate parties. Coordinates incoming and outgoing department correspondence.Performs moderately complex administrative functions related to entering information into databases, producing statistical reports, and presentations.Researches information and compiles materials for presentations and meeting and distributes documents for staff, clients, and external third parties.Establishes and maintains moderately complex filing systems for the storage and retrieval of routine internal/external correspondence, records, reports, and documents.Processes confidential correspondence from written, printed, or dictated sources, to include letters, memoranda, records, forms, and reports. Prepares reports and other deliverables requested by management.Registers personnel for conferences and classes. Coordinates travel arrangements for employees; ensures travel dates are correct; reserves accommodations as appropriate to facilitate travel to conferences and classes.Basic QualificationsHigh school diploma or G.E.D.Three or more years of department assistant experienceExperience working with grammar rules Other QualificationsMust possess a current (within the last 2 years) Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or active Top Secret level security clearance based on an SSBI.Good communication skillsGood office equipment skills such as faxing and photocopyingGood personal computer and business solutions software skillsGood organization skills to balance work and prioritize tasksAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to keep sensitive and confidential material privateMust be able to sit long periods of time at a computer.
