Summer ElementaryMiddle School Stem Support Staff Support staff are responsible for supporting the logistical or educational implementation of the program Logistic Support work may include working behind the scenes to ensure that all events run smoothly overnight duties be responsible for program equipment cars and curriculum materials and monies Education Support are responsible for assisting Advisors implement the educational curricula and supporting scholars inside and outside of the classroom This includes positively interacting with scholars daily providing a safe environment for scholars and assisting with program needs as they occur This position requires physical activity including heavy lifting and walkingbeing on ones feet for long periods of time This is a traveling position All staff are required to attend training in June 2018 Training location varies and contingent upon assigned session location Do you have what it takes Provide a high level of customer serviceMonitor the safety and whereabouts of students at all timesBe knowledgeable of all policies and procedures and assist in their enforcement including student conduct and dress codeWork with parents and students regarding any concerns including medical issues homesickness and special needs while at the program according to policy guidelines with the guidance of program managementInteract with parents and students in a customer service friendly mannerIdentify and solve any logistical problems that arise in a quick efficient and professional mannerManage safe and efficient transportation of students and staff during program utilizing program vehiclesAdvance the location of program events to ensure proper set up and the logistical success of the eventPrepare all group meeting rooms and deliver organized program materials according to curricular needs Restock supplies when neededFollow accounting procedures for petty cash expensesAlternate with other Scholar Relations team members to lead activities during recreation timeAssist with on site set up and take down at the end of each session as well as at the end of the cycleAttend daily staff meetingWork closely cooperatively and amicably with all staff membersAttend to personal needs of students for the entire conference on an on call basisProvide nighttime program support on a rotating basisFacilitate check out and visitation for students and visitors when necessaryPerform other duties as determined by the programExperience and Educational Requirements Must be 21 years old with a valid drivers licenseExperience andor immense passion in the STEM or educationExperience creating new opportunities from the start of projects to finishExperience communicating and maintaining effective relationshipsInterested Interviews are currently underway and applications end in late May 2018 so dont wait apply today to be part of this amazing experience Recruiters will reach out within approximately a week to potentially schedule interviews to evaluate candidate skillset and determine role consideration
