Colgan High School is hiring a girls’ lacrosse JV head coach. Colgan is a very successful and competitive program, finishing with an 11-5 record in its first season. We are seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of the game who is able to help student-athletes reach their potential on and off the field. The successful candidate must have:

1. Playing experience and previous coaching experience at any level

2. The ability to teach all skill levels, from brand new players to highly talented athletes

3. A passion for the game and willingness to grow the sport in the community

4. A willingness to assist in off-season skill work and conditioning

The coach must be available and dedicated from the start of tryouts at the end of February through the entire season, which could be as late as the beginning of June. Practice starts at approximately 4:30 daily. Candidate must go through the background check and other requirements as dictated by Prince William County Schools.

Colgan High School is Prince William County’s newest school with state-of-the-art facilities that include two turf fields, a large fully equipped weight room, and a competition aquatics center. This is a great opportunity to build a successful program from the ground up. Salary: Stipend. Appointment: Part-Time, 6 months.
