This Project Manager (PM) position will support multiple Federal customers in the acquisition and procurement of Verizon services. The PM will work with pre-Sale teams to fully understand customer requirements, and provide material support of procurement activities. The PM should have an understanding of Verizon contract commitments, and roles and responsibilities. The PM is also responsible for post-sale implementation management. Post sale includes internal communication to all support teams, tracking orders and projects, and reporting progress. It also includes managing the customer thru effective communication and understanding business requirements. Must be able to support multiple projects, deliverables, and customers. The PM is required to be well organized and detailed oriented.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 4+ years overall relevant experience.
- Must have demonstrated experience managing multiple projects from procurement thru implementation.
- Must have customer facing experience, and ideally worked with Federal customers.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Project.
*This position requires the ability to obtain a government issued security clearance; an active clearance is highly desirable*
Telecommunication experience and PMP certification is preferred.
