The Service Agent cleans vehicles inside and out (vehicles may be cleaned by hand or by operating washing equipment). The Service Agent also performs regular maintenance (non:mechanical services), moves vehicles, and performs other duties assigned by the manager, all completed in a safe and timely manner. This is a part:time position (no more than 25 hours per week) and the pay is 10.75 per hour. Apart from religious observation, Candidates must be able to work one the following schedules: 3pm:11pm Sunday/Monday/Friday Looking for candidates with experience as a full or part:time employee as a driver, auto detailer, journeyman, delivery, car:washer, porter. The Service Agent is responsible for the care and maintenance of the cars on the lot. This includes vacuuming and prepping the cars, shuttling cars to and from car washes and dealerships for servicing, car transports to and from offices, checking fluid levels, and changing tires.Clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by operating washing equipmentPolish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body, by handVacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)Determine need for and add windshield fluid, gas, oil, water and antifreezePerform basic maintenance check: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicleVerify appropriate stickers are attached to vehicle (registration, plates, etc.)May be responsible for maintaining an inventory of cleaning suppliesMay assist with local automobile deliveriesPerform miscellaneous job:related duties as assignedMust be at least 18 years oldMust have at least 2 years of relevent work experience (customer service, general labor, management, military, driver/shuttle) within the last last 6 years or 2 years full time enrollment in college.Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the last 5 years) criminal, employment reference, education, and social security. A conviction will not necessarily disqualify you for employment. Rather, such factors as age and date of conviction, seriousness and nature of the crime, and rehabilitation will be accordance with Washington, DC law, applicants will not be asked about their criminal record, and no criminal background checks will be conducted, unless and until a contingent offer of employment has been accordance with Prince Georges County, MD and Montgomery County, MD law, applicants will not be asked about their criminal record and no criminal background checks will be conducted until after a successful first interview has been conducted.Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job (heavy lifting, vacuuming cars, bending down, moving quickly, and working outside, standing for long periods of time) with or without reasonable accommodationMust have a valid US drivers license for a minimum of 1 yearMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.Must currently live (or moving within 30 days) in the NOVA areaApart from religious observation, must be able to work the following shift: 3pm:11pm Sunday/Monday/Friday
