The Gold Choice Counter Sales Representative Lead is an essential member of the airport location team and is the brand ambassador, providing the fastest, easiest, and most valued experience to our customers. This sales commissioned team member provides world class customer service and professionally and effectively sells Hertz products and services to meet our Gold Plus Rewards customerA?s travel needs. The key responsibilities and accountabilities are:Personally welcome Gold Plus Rewards customers with a pleasant greeting and answer questions in a friendly manner.Effectively communicate and offer ancillary products, services and upgrades to enhance our Gold Plus Rewards customerA?s travel experience.Strong emphasis on selling and revenue maximization on core products such as, but not limited to, options to waive customerA?s responsibility of damage, fuel options and vehicle upsells.Provide world class customer service to valued Gold Plus Rewards customers by managing the rentals and the exit process, in compliance with HertzA?s policies and procedures, with accuracy and attention to detail.Achieve personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the team.Drive continuous improvement by communicating customer feedback to team and engaging in action planning to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.Operate within the areas of rental counter, Gold Choice, and exit gate at the location.Educational Background: High School Diploma or equivalent Basic Qualifications:A minimum of one year of sales or customer experience in a high volume or service oriented environmentProven strong sales and closing skills and the ability to sell in a friendly, engaging mannerDemonstrate good communication skills both written and oral. Communicate in English clearly and proficiently. Candidates fluent in other languages are encouraged .Have the competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a commission:based environmentWork in a fast pacedenvironment with a variety of tasks. Excellent organizational and time management skillsStrong computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer systemsProven experience of working well within a team.100 customer focus, with proven experience within a customer facing environmentWork flexible shifts including weekends and holidays; and work overtime as requiredWork outdoors during all weather conditionsLift up to 25 poundsStand or sit for long periods of time Physical Requirements: Applicant must possess all hearing, speaking and communicating capabilities necessary to complete the responsibilities detailed above. The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following such as sitting, standing, speaking, hearing, writing, typing, filing, seeing, and reading. Knowledge of equipment operation such as computer terminal, telephone, calculator, and fax machine is required. BONUS PROGRAM PAYOUT DETAILS:Eligible employees will receive a lump sum bonus payment in the amount of:1,000 upon completion of 3 months of employment;1000.00 upon completion of 4 months of employment;2,000 upon completion of 6 months in the positionTOTALING 4,000 in just 6 months of employment Hertz is a Drug:Free Workplace.
