The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for ensuring implementation of ABA therapy services in accordance with best clinical practices.Clinical ServicesResponsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive behavioral assessments and behavioral treatment programs for children, their families, and their community caregiversManage coordination of case management activitiesProvide training to parents and caregivers to implement treatment programsResponsible for providing clinical appropriate supervision and training of clinical staffProvide ABA therapy in home, school, and community based environmentsConsultation ServicesResponsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive behavioral assessment and behavioral treatment programs in school, home, and community settingsConduct functional behavior assessmentsProvide consultative services to parents, teachers, and other clinical/educational personnelProvide staff training as neededResponsible for coordination of home and school communication regarding treatment programOrganize, facilitate and lead treatment team meetingsAdministrativeEffective and timely documentation skillsTimely completion all paperwork and phone contacts to caregivers, funding sources, outside agencies and schools (as appropriate) regarding treatment and development of treatment plans, goals, and objectivesProfessional ConductEstablish effective clinical and ethical relationships with clients and families, and maintain appropriate boundariesEstablish and maintain professional and ethical working relationships with staff and in collaborations with funding sources, community agencies, schools, medical practices, and other therapy providersMasterA?s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education / special education, or a related fieldBCBA Certification required or waiting to take BACB examinationCurrent license / ability to obtain a license as a Behavior Analyst in VirginiaExperience working with children with developmental disabilities and/or behavior problemsBLS certification is required within 30 days of hireExperience in behavioral assessment and treatmentExcellent time management and organizational skillsEffective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsExperience with children on the autism spectrumPossess a Valid DriverA?s license
