Technical Architect, Mid
Key Role:
Serve as a technical architect on large scale Enterprise Architecture (EA) projects. Provide consultation and strategic guidance to clients and other senior staff in addressing complex, enterprise level systems engineering, and integration challenges. Develop and maintain enterprise technical architecture and perform activities, including conceptual and logical modeling and analysis of complex systems environments, technical infrastructure, and other components of the client technical environment. Develop and implement Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), design data modeling and data integration, Web Applications, Web Services, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Database and ETL, Java and JEE, and SOAP and XML, develop EA technical guidance, design patterns, and standards, and collaborate with IT project stakeholders in the development and evaluation of EA compliant technical solutions. Support technical teams in investigating, analyzing, defining, tailoring, and implementing technology solutions to create greater alignment between technology and business goals. Construct adaptable systems that meet client requirements, investigate, analyze, define, tailor, and implement solutions that help to align technology and business goals, and support stakeholder work sessions focused on identifying requirements and solutions. Develop architecture content in automated tools, including IBM System Architect.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with IT or system engineering
-Experience with developing solution architecture and conceptual and logical system design for large scale programs and projects
-Experience with supporting different software development methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile
-Experience with EA modeling and visualization tools, including Troux and Metis, IBM Rational System Architect, IBM Rational Software Architect, Mega, Enterprise Elements, iGraphx, or Visio
-Ability to function at both the detail and conceptual levels
-Ability to document the architectural conclusion using technical specification notations, including UML
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with providing enterprise architecture related support to clients in the federal space
-Experience with designing services that extend COTS Case Management solutions, including entellitrak
-Possession of excellent analytical and conceptual skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Enterprise Architecture or Technology Management Certification
