This position is for nuclear work in the UK. This position will be located in the Reston, VA office. This project operates on work schedule A with alternating Fridays off.
**Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to):**
+ 3D modeling of piping, HVAC and equipment in AVEVA PDMS/E3D,
+ Preparation of drawings/documents for General Arrangements, Equipment Location and piping isometrics drawings using Microstation and/or AutoCAD,
+ Generate quantity reports using AVEVA PDMS/E3D,
+ Assist with coordination of 3D model activities, i.e. input, interference reconciliation, etc. with other physical related disciplines, design partners, and customer,
+ Assists with plans and schedules and prepare/maintain design procedures, standards to provide quality design documents,
+ Interface with stress and pipe support engineers, design partners, construction, and suppliers during the preparation of piping designs for the purpose of model/space control, etc.,
+ Perform coordination review of specifications and other documents prepared by others.
# Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of related design experience or AA/AS degree with 8 years of related design experience; or 12 years related design experience in lieu of a formal degree
+ Possess the right to work in the US without sponsorship
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
+ Candidate should possess an advanced knowledge of piping codes such as ASME B31.3 or B31.1.
+ Hands-on experience using 3D Modeling Software
+ Previous design experience on nuclear power projects utilizing Generation III+ reactor technologies
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Previous Bechtel project experience
+ Ability to create, manage, and manipulate complex databases
