Amec Foster Wheeler is currently seeking Senior Computer Specialists to support the FEMA Public Assistance Recovery Program on an on:call basis. This is a fantastic experience to travel to new locations, meet new people, learn new things and help people recovery in their time of greatest need. Will report to our Chantilly, VA office but work location will vary based on the project. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative, technical, and program management support for services and recommend solutions that meet current and future Public Assistance requirements in support of FEMAA?s missions and functionsDevelop Micro:Soft Access Database and programs to support Public Assistance functions including but not limited to SharePoint, and Web Design/DevelopmentMinimum of ten (10) yearsA? experience in information technologyMust be able to monitor technological changes and developments associated programs with FEMAA?s networking database and analyzes existing programs such as SharePointMust development and proposal evaluation to ensure that procurements are performed accurately, adequately documented, and effected in a timely mannerMust be able to perform product and services research to ascertain what near future developments required for mission supportMust be able and willing to travel to projects sites : 100 travel required US citizenship requiredMust pass FEMA background security checkWe are an equal opportunity employer that recognises the value of a diverse workforce.
