Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Java (J2EE Web) Developer 3 or 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in (Herndon, VA). The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Joint Department of Defense (DoD)/Veterans Administration (VA) Individual Longitudinal Exposure Record (ILER) program. The ILER solution is a collaborative effort between the DoD and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to create a complete record of every Service members’ occupational and environmental health (OEH) exposures over the course of his or her career. The ILER will serve to enhance exposure-related medical diagnosis and treatment, medical surveillance, epidemiologic analyses, and disability evaluations for Service members and Veterans. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below. Roles and Responsibilities: • Design and develops technical solution using Java, J2EE with an understanding of EJBs, JSP, MVC, and JPA. Front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JSP, and JavaScript and Unit testing (JUnit/Cactus) • Develops programs for data gathering, display and reports • Modifies existing COTS and custom programs to meet requirement specifications and design standards • Conducts various testing activities to help ensure quality control of the system components • Troubleshooting reported issues • Maintain project documentation JavaNGTS
