  • This position is responsible for the following, distribution, installation, operations, and troubleshooting of site distributed computing environments at our Virginia and Maryland locations.
  • You will be expected to participate in hardware/software projects and deployment plans in addition to analyzing work group systems and recommending solutions, executing production processes, perform/manage changes to servers/environments and manage virus protection procedures on servers.
  • Drive day to day business needs by managing processes and/or workflow and responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur via Service Now.
  • Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.


Qualifications

Required Experience:
Proven customer service experience
Previous troubleshooting experience in an IT environment
Executive support experience
Extensive hands-on experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, MS Office 2010 and above including Office 365
Extensive knowledge with iOS and android support and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Outlook / Exchange
Strong communication skills verbal /written
Strong organizational, prioritization and decision making skills
Experience with desktop imaging software
Experience with remote access and token security systems
Hardware support for HP and Apple desktop/laptop/servers
Wireless troubleshooting skills for home network users
Knowledge of Avaya Phone Switches and Voicemail systems
Facilities management experience alarms, badge readers, conference room equipment, vendor relationships, etc.
Experience with VMware
Experience supporting Apple laptops with Mac OS X

Desired Experience:
PBX Administration Avaya or similar
Anti-Virus & IT Security best practices implementation & administration
Process complianceKnowledge of the ITIL Framework
Windows 2003-2008 Server support experience
Knowledge of McAfee products as we utilize all or our product lines in the field

Desired Certifications & Education:
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent industry experience
ITIL V3 Foundation
CompTIA A+ Certification
CompTIA Security+ Certification
CompTIA Network+ Certification
Security Clearance

Requirements:Top Secret, SCI with FS Poly
