Position Description
This position will provide onsite security engineering support to CDTs client located in Reston Virginia. Day to day activities include providing security
engineering/assurance expertise and evaluating and testing security elements of cloud based sensitive networks, enclaves, and applications that conform to NIST 800 series requirements.

:C2S RMF accreditation
:Security documentation
:DevOps experience in cloud environment
:Agile/scrum environment
:Big Data
:ABAC (Attribute Based) security configuration and testing
Position Clearance Requirements
:Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
Position Requirements
Bachelors degree (preferred but not required) and 5+ years of experience in testing, securing, deploying, configuring, maintaining, and/or monitoring computer systems and networks, as well as performing enterprise software installations and upgrades.
:Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
A high level of demonstrated ability in Security Engineering and Information Assurance
In depth knowledge of AWS, GovCloud, Cloud Technology
Experience with Data Centric Architectures and Big Data platforms
In depth knowledge of routing and networking.
Expertise in maintaining secure systems, vulnerability scanning, patching, updating.
Strong understanding of Certification and Accreditation / Assessment and Authorization Standards.
Web Application Security expertise (preferred).
Database Security expertise (preferred).
Virtualization expertise : VMware and/or others (preferred).
Position Responsibilities
Provide security engineering and information assurance and testing support to a variety of cloud based sensitive systems.
Review system architecture and designs against security best practices.
Test and evaluate a large variety of systems as to their conformance to NIST 800 series controls and security best practices.
Analyze and prepare in:depth reports, system security plans, and control response/artifact on system security compliance.
Perform vulnerability assessment and penetration testing activities.
Position Education Requirements
:Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, System Engineering, or equivalent concentration. Four (4) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
