CAI has an immediate opening, with target start date of 9/29/2017 for a Senior ETL developer. This is a very large scale, enterprise level, federal project. This person will work in lead capacity, in the reconciliation of data elements from 10 systems (which are a variety of Oracle 11, MS SQL, and MySQL), into one common services data architecture (Open Source Postgres Database). Responsibilities include:Document all facets of the data standards and develop a Master Data Management and Governance Plan. Provide technical expertise to assist with the building and maintenance ofA?..Data Models: Conceptual Enterprise Data Model, Physical Data Model (current and target) and if needed, a Logical Data Model.Enterprise Data Dictionary, which defines data domains, objects, elements, business definitions, technical constraints, logical data connections and translations, data types, domain values, security controls and constraints. Enterprise Data Services Catalog: All existing and planned API and Web Services, describe intended usage and map them to the prospective users. Data Classification: Reference Data, Core/Application Data, Audit Log Data, Metadata, Data Models and Standards, Security DispositionData Management PlanOperational Update PatternsData Interoperability Matrix showing user and data interactions for Legacy and the new systemData Strategy and RoadmapData Security: Standards, Policy, Privacy Standards, Security Controls.Business Analytics Roadmap: Who is accessing data, events and triggers, internal and external drivers, access methods, feedback mechanisms and reporting strategy. Data Stewardship: Identifying key technical personnel, roles and responsibilities. Also, document the processes required to reconcile, update, connect and maintain data connectivity across the enterprise. Requirements for the Senior ETL Developer role:10 + years experience working in an ETL function, supporting security and data management efforts.
