Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Database Architect/Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Herndon, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Joint Department of Defense (DoD)/Veterans Administration (VA) Individual Longitudinal Exposure Record (ILER) program. The ILER solution is a collaborative effort between the DoD and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to create a complete record of every Service members’ occupational and environmental health (OEH) exposures over the course of his or her career. The ILER will serve to enhance exposure-related medical diagnosis and treatment, medical surveillance, epidemiologic analyses, and disability evaluations for Service members and Veterans. Roles and Responsibilities: • Facilitate/Lead requirements definition meetings and requirements documentation activities • Develop data model design based on analysis of new requirement and design philosophy of existing database • Develop design artifacts for relational database structure changes • Develop and execute SQL and PL/SQL scripts • Maintain project documentation • Support of issue analysis and defect corrections during test events and user application execution • Develop Interface Control Document (ICD)
