Engility is hiring an Avaya Voice Network Engineer for a key role on our program in Chantilly, VA. Your role will include the following duties:Ensure all engineered installation designs meet the guidelines of A?best practicesA? , security requirements and the intent of the stated requirement Participate in planning, technical exchange, coordination meetings, and Engineering Review Boards at the local and headquarters level Conduct site surveys, develop site designs, create operational concepts, test and implementation plans to include providing requirement analysis derived from the customerA?s request and translate those requirements into circuit designs, drawings, material lists, labor and hardware cost estimates, and implementation schedules, all in compliance with customer network standards and security requirements Participate in and provide site specific information for the project readiness review cycle, develop and conduct design reviews, and provide implementation coordination with affected O and M sites Responsible to design interface requirements from the customerA?s local area network interface to the wide area network infrastructure Must possess an ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to successfully obtain a polygraph. At least one current network industry certification, preferably CiscoA?s CCNA, FoundryA?s BCNE, JuniperA?s JNCIE, Avaya AIPS Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with a high school diplomaCapable of installing, configuring, troubleshooting Avaya Aura Communication Manager and related hardware such as G450A?s, G430A?s, Utility servers, and Message Application Server Exemplary organizational and communication skills, and be able to manage a number of projects at one time Network Hardware (routers, switches, cryptographic equipment, voice gateways, PBX, trunks, VoIP, circuits) Networking Protocols (IP, DHCP, HTTP, etc.) 7 years of industry experience with a Bachelors or AssociateA?s degree Familiar with telecom industry standards including VoIP, IP, TDM, analog, Serial, and IP L2 and L3 principlesNotable experience designing, implementing, and supporting large voice and data enterprises Also capable of installing, maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting CiscoA?s Call Manager and related products such as Telepresence, Voice Messaging, and call control and routing
